CPA Canada  PREP Semester 4 Open for Registration

Deadline: June 29, 2021 (Tuesday)


Dear Student,

 

The 2021 PREP Semester 4 course registration has begun.

 

Please make note of the following changes to the CPA preparatory courses, starting with the 2019/2020 calendar beginning November:

? In February 2021, three core courses were redesigned: Intermediate Financial Reporting 1, Intermediate Financial Reporting 2, and Taxation. Beginning May 2021, Audit and Assurance course will also be redesigned. Please refer to the redesigned core courses' student guide for more.

?  As of the April 2021 exams, the evaluation of non-core courses will be based 100% on the final exam. Students will need to achieve 50% to pass the exam and the course. 

?  Students can register for non-core preparatory courses any day of the year

? Students can register for courses and their corresponding examinations separately, selecting one of five available examination dates

? Students have one year from the course start date (or registration date for non-core enrollment) to pass a preparatory course

? Students are permitted to change their exam date once they meet the assignments’ minimum standards.(exam deferral fees apply)

IMPORTANT NOTES:

? For Non-redesigned core courses, starting with the examinations taking place in August, 2020, students must achieve a minimum of 50% on their core course exam in addition to an overall mark of 60% in their core course in order to pass.

? Students must select an exam date at the time they are registering for a preparatory course. However,  to be eligible to attempt a course-end examination,all of the assignments specified for the course must be completed within the course registerred session, not the chosen exam session.

? Students have a maximum of three attempts to pass a preparatory course. A student who fails a core course with a mark above 50% can attempt the rewrite examination. If the student fails the second attempt, retaking the course is required in order to have a third and final attempt at the examination. A student who fails the first attempt with a mark less than 50% must retake the course.

? Students registering for the first time are not permitted to proceed with a rewrite exam.

? A Rewrite only option is not available for non-core courses.

Annual Dues

 

All students are required to maintain active student membership while enrolled in CPA courses. Membership fees are valid from April 1 to March 31 and students will be required to renew their membership annually. Membership fees may be prorated for the first year of enrollment.

 

If you have not paid the Annual Dues for 2021/22 academic year, please download the Annual Dues Form and send it together with your S4 registration form above to info@cpacanada.net.cn before June 29, 2021.
